“Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say rejoice.”  (Phil. 4:4)

The Sun of Righteousness shines now with a great brilliance in this Paschal Season, and it is brighter than the noonday sun.  His Light shines forever both day and night.

“This then is the message that we have heard of Him, and declare unto you, that God is Light and in Him there is no darkness at all.”  (1 John 1:5)

When Christ rose from the dead in His Glorious Resurrection that Light burst out from Golgotha, from the place of the skull and the tomb, and brightly shone in the hearts of all men who are willing to receive It.  Christ is that Light, He is our illumination, He is still shining with all goodness and love, and He is the Light of our life.

The Paschal greeting, always in the present tense, is: “Christ is Risen!” and we always is the same present tense respond, “Truly, He is Risen!”

If His Light shines in us now by opening our hearts to Him, then our life will change, and we will become children of Light.  Let that Light shine in us today!

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father Which is in Heaven.”  (Matt. 5:16)
